Data Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Data Engineer to join our growing data and analytics team. In this role, you will design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and architectures that support advanced analytics and business intelligence initiatives. You will play a critical role in transforming raw data into reliable, high-quality datasets that drive strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes
• Build scalable data architectures and data lakes/warehouses
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across systems
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to deliver data solutions
• Optimize data flow and performance for large-scale datasets
• Implement data security and compliance best practices
• Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to ensure reliability and availability
• Contribute to the adoption of modern data engineering and DevOps practices

Core Skills & Expertise

• Strong proficiency in SQL and database management systems
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools and data pipeline frameworks
• Expertise in big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)
• Programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
• Familiarity with data modeling and schema design
• Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools is a plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in data engineering or a related domain
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
